Ah yes, it's summer
Oh, Texas. I see you've remembered the time of year.
Yeah, uh, I love having horses and want to go spend time with them and all, but I'm also not insane. Maybe if there was a little less heat index, I would have gone - but 113? Christ on a cracker, that's a NO THANK YOU.

ReplyDeleteYeah, and the fun thing is that 100 degrees is fairly normal summer temps. The 113 heat index was... new. And unwelcome. lol
DeleteA lot of places around here don't do shows and stuff in the summer unless they have an indoor, or only run things from godawful-early to noon. It's just too hot, especially late July/the entire month of August.
