Trying out this NaBloPoMo thing

Clover Ledge Farm is doing a National Blog Posting Month thing, and... you know, it's been a week and I need to do something that isn't all the bullshit that's been going on, so what the hell.  Let's see how many of these I can do... and I totally apologize for the mini-flood that's going to happen as I catch up.  :)
